Welcome to Dave's Trains

 

Watch out for some new pages on Glasgow's abandoned railways. First the ex-Caley lines north of the Clyde.

This web site illustrates one persons' fascination for trains both prototype and model. The photographs celebrate a personal view of the railways of the British Isles, The United States, South Africa. The pages for Italy,  the Irish Republic and Holland have been removed as they weren't going to be updated anytime soon!

All the photographs are from my personal collection unless otherwise acknowledged.

It is my intention that the portfolio of photographs will not remain static and will be replaced regularly with new images so please visit the site again.

Many of the photographs have been taken on 'expeditions' with the members of the Eastbank Model Railway Club whose interest and passion for this hobby has lasted now for almost fifty years.
